Do you think the language is offensive? The language isn’t offensive to me, but it might be to women and kids, I just find it funny because I’m obnoxious like that. Do I think the rating, AA14, is appropriate? No I don’t think that rating is appropriate because kids that age do
n’t need to be exposed to this kind of stuff, I don’t even think I should be able to watch this. Like Jesus, he’s the most messed up person I’ve ever seen before, or the comment “I’m going to fuck you in the ass”, kids don’t need to hear that, and don’t forget about Walter telling Donny to “shut the fuck up”, it’s just terrible, but hilarious. Last but not least, The Dude’s everyday speech, “fuck” this and “fuck” that.
On the other hand it was a great movie but it definitely should be rated 18A. That’s what I think about “The Big Lebowski” using swear words and offensive language nonchalantly.
